Accessibility statement

This accessibility statement applies to the website of Alfsee GmbH published at alfsee.de.

General description of the service

The Alfsee GmbH website allows users to find out about products and services, to get in touch and to place orders or bookings directly online.

Applicable legal requirements

Digital services are subject to the requirements of Section 14 of the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) in conjunction with Section 3 Paragraph 1 BFSG and the Ordinance on the BFSG (BFSGV).

Implementation of accessibility requirements

The assessment is based on a self-evaluation using the AccessGO accessibility tool.

Based on this review, the website is partially accessible and meets the aforementioned requirements.

Specifically, the following points are not fully compliant with the accessibility regulations that apply to us:

  • Barrier: Redundant title text for one element.
  • Barrier: Redundant adjacent links with identical destinations.
  • Barrier: A link leads to a PDF file (.pdf) without indicating the file type or file size.
  • Barrier: ARIA menu without valid labeling of menu items.
  • Barrier: A link points to a location within the same page, but the corresponding target element is missing.
  • Barrier: Missing label for a field group.

Planned approach to dealing with the aforementioned barriers:

We are currently planning the implementation of measures to remove these barriers.

Note regarding PDF files:

Some PDF documents provided on the website (e.g., operating instructions, declarations of conformity, energy labels, certificates) are currently not fully accessible.

These files exhibit some structural and technical limitations – including missing heading structures, undefined reading orders, missing alternative text for graphic content, or untagged tables. As a result, their usability with assistive technologies is limited.

For organizational and economic reasons, we are currently unable to provide all existing PDF documents in a fully accessible format. However, we are striving to publish new documents in an accessible format wherever possible.

If you require a specific document in an accessible format, please contact us. We will gladly provide you with an individually accessible version, to the extent possible.

Supplement to the accessibility statement

Our website uses the AccessGO accessibility plugin (www.accessgo.de) provided by DGfB Deutsche Gesellschaft für Barrierefreiheit mbH.

This allows users to adapt our website to individual limitations or preferences.

The settings can be accessed via the AccessGO icon or alternatively via the keyboard shortcut “ALT + 1”. All functions can also be controlled using the keyboard

Among other things, this makes it possible to adjust the following aspects:

  • font size
  • contrast
  • Highlighting links
  • Activating a screen reader
  • Using profiles to activate multiple settings simultaneously.

To fulfill the tasks of the Accessibility Strengthening Act, the German states are currently establishing a joint agency. The State Market Surveillance Agency for the Accessibility of Products and Services (MLBF) is to commence operations as a new public corporation in Saxony-Anhalt, in the state capital of Magdeburg. This is contingent upon the ratification of the interstate treaty governing the fulfillment of tasks under the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) by all German states. All states are currently creating the necessary conditions for this.
