Explanation of accessibility
Accessibility Statement
This accessibility statement applies to the Alfsee GmbH website published at alfsee.de.
General description of the service
The Alfsee GmbH website allows users to find out about products and services, contact us, and place orders or bookings directly online.
Applicable legal requirements
For digital services, the requirements of Section 14 of the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) in conjunction with Section 3 Paragraph 1 BFSG and the Ordinance on the BFSG (BFSGV) apply.
Implementation of accessibility requirements
The assessment is based on a self-assessment using the AccessGO accessibility tool.
Based on this review, the website is partially accessible with the aforementioned requirements.
In particular, the following points are not fully compliant with the accessibility regulations applicable to us:
- Barrier: Redundant title text for an element.
- Barrier: Redundant adjacent links with identical destination.
- Barrier: A link leads to a PDF file (.pdf) without indicating the file type or size.
- Barrier: ARIA menu without valid labeling of the menu items.
- Barrier: A link points to a location within the same page, but the corresponding target element is missing.
- Barrier: Missing label for a field group.
Planned approach to the barriers mentioned:
We are currently planning to implement the removal of these barriers.
Note on PDF files:
Some PDF documents provided on the website (e.g. operating instructions, declarations of conformity, energy labels, certificates) are currently not fully accessible.
Some of these files have structural and technical limitations—including missing heading structures, undefined reading sequences, missing alternative text for graphic content, or untagged tables. This limits their usability with assistive technologies.
For organizational and financial reasons, we are currently unable to provide all existing PDF documents in a fully accessible format. However, we will endeavor to publish new documents in an accessible format wherever possible.
If you require a specific document in an accessible format, please contact us. We will be happy to provide you with an accessible version, as far as possible.
Supplement to the Accessibility Statement
The accessibility plugin AccessGO (www.accessgo.de) from the DGfB German Society for Accessibility mbH is offered on our website.
This allows users to adapt our website to individual restrictions or preferences.
The settings can be accessed via the AccessGO icon or alternatively via the keyboard shortcut “ALT + 1.” All functions can also be controlled using the keyboard.
Among other things, it is possible to adjust the following aspects:
- Font size
- contrast
- Emphasis from left
- Activating a screen reader
- Use of the profiles to activate several settings at the same time.
