Guests of all ages will get their money's worth at the Alfsee. Water rats enjoy the relaxation in the beach arena at the bathing lake with sandy beach or romp around in the Aquapark. 3 water ski lifts offer the best conditions from beginner to professional. Or explore the Germanenland adventure world, the Bullermeck indoor fun center, the Alfseering kart track, the adventure land Alfsee with its circular maze and the children's car park. If you're into absolute tension, try your luck in the escape room. There are also events on the Piazza, like the 24-hour mountain bike race. Families enjoy their holidays on the different playgrounds and have fun with clown Ati.
But the offers in the area are also great: swimming pools like the Varus Therme or Nettebad, swingolf, quad or trolley rides, ropes course, museums and the city of Osnabrück are all just a short drive away. In close proximity of the Alfsee, the Teutons beat the Roman army in the famous Battle of the Teutoburg Forest in the year 9 AD. Museum and park Kalkriese trace this event. Countless magnificent timbered houses characterize the northern Art region. In the clothmaker museum you will get to know the history of the clothmakers.

Aqua park at the Alfsee
Fun and action are guaranteed. In the aqua park, adults as well as children can really rom around. The big aqua park is accessible from 8 years old, the small one already from 4 years old. Parental supervision is obviously required. You can find all details such as prices and opening hours on the website of the beach arena.

Water skiing at the Alfsee
Get on the skis and let's go. Water skiing is a great sport that is simply a lot of fun. Beginners can make their first laps in the beginners course at low speed and accompanied by detailed explanations. Professionals, on the other hand, fly through the air and slide through the course. On 3 water ski lifts, we have something for everyone.

Here we have one of the biggest circular mazes in Germany! But there are also other attractions like the petting meadow, the giant straw pyramid, the big digging and mud corner and the grill igloos invite to stay.

Especially cyclists find ideal conditions around the Alfsee holiday and recreation park: gentle hills, wide plains, lots of green and little traffic. Cities, villages and castles that are worth seeing. We haveput together interesting tours for you which can be easily managed in daily stages. At the Alfsee Center we advise you and offer you bike tour maps.

If you didn't bring your own bike, you can find a bike rental at the Tramp & Camp. We also have children's bikes.
Hiking at the Hünenweg
Hike through a fascinating nature and cultural landscape in the north of the region of Osnabrück! The "Hüne" (=giant) represents the big stone graves and barrows that characterise this hiking route.
Kommende Lage a place of pilgrimage
Visit the pildrimage church Saint John the Baptist in Lage. Because of the invitation of the Diocese Osnabrück, the Franciscan Minorites from the Province St. Elisabeth have taken over the "Kommende Lage" as a monastery.
